Pole Kit for Bluebird House

Installing bluebird houses and creating bluebird trails is made fast and easy with this unique pole system combined with the innovative, molded-in pipe channel in the rear of our Bluebird House. The pole system consists of two 3′ long galvanized pipes 1/2″ in diameter, and a 1/2″ coupler. The lower pipe is driven 2′ into the ground; the second pipe is attached using the coupler. Then the bluebird house rear channel slides onto the pole and a tube strap (supplied) tightens the nest box to the pole. The Bluebird House will stand 4′ off the ground. Installation takes minutes.

The Bluebird House Pole Kit

To encourage the installation of bluebird houses and bluebird trails, we have priced our Bluebird Pole Kit in order to keep the cost at or below what you would pay to go the a builders supply and have the pieces cut and threaded.

Installing the Bluebird House Pole Kit

The lower 3’ long, half-inch diameter pipe is driven approximately 24” into the ground using a sledge (with a piece of wood protecting the threads).

The two 3’ long sections are connected using the ½” coupler.

The bluebird house is attached by sliding the molded channel in the rear over the top pipe and tightening the tube strap.
